Ingredients and Food Allergens

Q: What are the ingredients and common food allergens in the toffee?
A: All of our toffee is made with a base of salted butter and sugar. (Milk allergen)

The milk chocolate, dark chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate that we use contains soy. (Soy allergen)

We also offer toffee with almonds and pecans. (Tree nuts allergen)

We do not use peanuts in our toffee; however, the label of the dark chocolate that we use does indicate it is processed in a facility with peanuts. (Warning of Peanut allergen)

Refer to the next question reqarding the risk of nuts, including peanuts.

If you have a food allergy to any of these items, please do NOT purchase these products. If you have have any questions or would like a complete list of ingredients, please send an email to info@newenglandtoffee.com with your request.

Q: Is there any risk of nuts in your nutless toffee?
A: There is always some risk because the nutless toffee is cooked in a facility where nuts are used. While every effort is made to keep the cooking equipment for nutless toffee separate; this is not a 100% guarantee. Traces of nut oils or residues may occasionally be found in a nutless toffee.

Allergy Warning: The label on the Dark Chocolate candy that we use states that it is "manufactured on the same equipment that processes peanuts/almonds."
